We have implemented water efficient technologies and ensure maintenance of Zero Liquid Discharge at our operations. At JSW, treated water is effectively reused in key operations such as slag cooling and slag granulation. Apart from industrial effluent, we also manage sewage through sewage treatment plants and recover quality water through reverse osmosis which is used in horticulture. Additionally, JSW has also been able to supply recycled water for irrigation in water-starved regions around the operations. All our plants have achieved Zero Liquid Discharge status.
Maintain Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) status
The installation of Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) systems across our key manufacturing facilities continues to be a primary strategic priority. This initiative is driven by two core objectives: first, to ensure that no wastewater generated from our operations is released into the natural environment; and second, to confirm that all such wastewater is thoroughly treated, recycled, and reused within our processes.
