We have implemented the ISO 50001 Energy Management System across all our manufacturing locations, reinforcing our commitment to continuous improvement in energy performance. Our strategy is built on four pillars:

Continuous monitoring, benchmarking, and reporting of energy use against best practices.
Phased transition to renewable energy and reduction of carbon intensity.
Promoting energy-efficient technologies and engaging employees, contractors, and suppliers.
We have a standalone Energy Policy that focuses on enhancing energy efficiency, integrating green energy, and achieving carbon neutrality through sustainable and innovative practices.

We are executing a range of energy-saving and decarbonisation initiatives across our integrated steel plants. Among the numerous projects undertaken under the purview of the Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Energy, Environment and Decarbonisation (SEED), our flagship environmental programme stands out as a prominent demonstration of how environmental stewardship is being embedded into our core operational framework. Additionally, we undertook several energy reduction and conservation initiatives across units.
In FY 26, our CapEx for all our environmental investments was INR 1,260.49 crores and OpEx for environmental investments was INR 669.58 crores. Further, estimated savings from environmental investments was INR 1,276.44 crores.
