She is a Member of the Legislative Assembly and a great visionary, renowned industrialist and a patriarch of the O.P.Jindal Group. They appointed her as Chairperson Emeritus of the Company w.e.f 21.10.2011 upon her cessation as Director & Chairperson of the Company.

Mr. Jindal holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Bangalore University. He is also the principal promoter of the Company. Mr. Jindal’s dedication to the cause of a self-reliant India is reflected in the technological innovations that define and set apart each JSW company. Under his leadership, JSW Group over the years has expanded in other core sectors of the economy, such as Steel, Power, infrastructure building and Cement. Today, the JSW Group runs some of the most energy efficient and eco-friendly manufacturing facilities in the country. Mr. Jindal also serves as council member of the Indian Institute of Metals and is also a member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Sustainability Committee of World Steel Association, as well as the former President of Institute of Steel Development and Growth.. In 2007, he was named the Ernst and Young ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ in the manufacturing category. In 2009, he was honoured with the Willy Korf Ken Iverson Steel Vision Award by the American Metal Market & World Steel Dynamics.

Mr. Jindal is also the Chairman & Managing Director of JSW Energy Limited, Chairman of JSW Infrastructure Limited and director on the Boards of Jindal Aluminium Limited, The Indian Institute of Metals and JSW MG Motors India Private Limited. He is also a Nominee Director of Invest Karnataka Forum.

Mr. Jayant Acharya, Jt. Managing Director & CEO, started his career with SAIL (Steel authority of India) in the year 1986 and then worked with renowned Indian Business Groups in various Capacities until he joined JSW Steel in 1999.

With over three decades of industry experience in the Metals and Mining sector, Mr. Acharya has played a pivotal role in the growth of JSW Steel. He has led various key transformations in Sales & Marketing., IT transformation, Digitalization efforts and focus on Sustainability and environmental measures. Under his stewardship several key transformations have taken place within JSW Steel in the areas of Organized steel retailing, Development of Critical and Advanced Grade of Steels for Automotive, Long-term supply contracting etc. He has also spearheaded New Product Development initiatives and has been able to create a substantial market presence for JSW Steel for Alloy Steel Rounds and Bars, Electrical Steel, Tin Plates etc. In line with the Company’s strategic focus of expanding in key geographies and strengthening its global footprint, Mr. Acharya has successfully managed overseas acquisitions in the USA and Italy for JSW Steel and has also secured coal and iron ore mines through auctions.

Mr. Jayant Acharya holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, a Master's degree in Physics from BITS (Birla Institute of Technology, Pilani, India), and an MBA degree.

Mr. Jayant Acharya is also Director on the Board of JSW Steel Coated Products Limited.

Mr. Gajraj Singh Rathore is the Chief Operating Officer for JSW Steel. He brings with him over 35 years of steel industry experience with expertise on large scale transformation & digitalization. He has been associated with JSW Steel for about 27 years and has championed multiple strategic priorities such as leading the Steel making and Mills at the Vijayanagar plant as Executive Vice President, Operations and successfully overseeing the expansion and capacity utilization of the Dolvi plant as its President.

Mr. Gajraj Singh is also Director on the Boards of Chandranitya Developers Limited, JSW AP Steel Limited and JSW JFE Electrical Steel Private Limited.

Mr. Arun Sitaram Maheshwari has been an integral part of the JSW Group leadership team for over 28 years, contributing significantly to the Group's growth. As JSW Steel embarks in its next phase of growth, Arun’s extensive experience in Commercial, Marketing, Strategy, and M&A will further reinforce the company’s sustained growth and success.

During his illustrious tenure, Arun has been instrumental in sourcing key raw materials for the Steel and Power businesses, shaping corporate strategy, and expanding JSW’s international market presence. His innovative and entrepreneurial approach has helped transform the Group’s steel, commodities, and infrastructure segments. In his five-year stint as Joint Managing Director & CEO of JSW Infrastructure, Mr. Maheshwari has played a pivotal role in transforming JSW Infrastructure from a captive port service company to a multi-dimensional infrastructure company. Under his leadership, the company grew into the second largest private commercial port company with a capacity of 170 MTPA. He also steered the successful listing of the company on the BSE and NSE in October 2023.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Master’s in Business Administration.

Mr. Hiroyuki Ogawa holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, The University of Tokyo. Smt Khushboo Goel Chowdhary is an officer belonging to 2008 batch of the Indian Administration Services. She holds Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University; Master’s in Business Administration from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University and a Master’s in Public Policy from Indira Gandhi National Open University.

She has over a decade of experience in various high-impact administrative roles in Government. As Deputy Commissioner, Yadgir, she was instrumental in maintaining law and order, implementing social security programs and managing disaster response. As Deputy Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India, she successfully led the analysis and Management of vigilance, prosecution and disciplinary matters for Indian Administrative Officers, among others. As Managing Director HESCOM, she was responsible for efficient distribution of power across the region, balancing both technical and financial responsibilities. She has also held various other postings in public transport urban sector, urban and revenue sector.

Her experience extends beyond national borders, as she represented India at various International forums, including G-20, Anti-corruption working Groups, BRICS and the United Nations Convention against Corruption. These roles allowed her to contribute significantly to global discussions on governance and anti-corruption measures. She has also completed various specialized training programs including overseas training in governance and public procurement, courses in Micro Masters Program in Data, Economics and design of Policy (DEDP) of MIT which has added a global perspective to her extensive experience in Indian Administration.

Mr. Seturaman Mahalingam, a chartered accountant by qualification, began his career as an IT consultant and thereafter played a major role in marketing Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) services across the globe, developing processes and creating large software development centres for the Company. He has held key positions such as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of TCS. Mr. Mahalingam retired from TCS in February 2013 after serving the company for over 42 years. Prior to becoming the Chief Financial Officer in February 2003, Mr. Mahalingam has managed many of the key functions in TCS including Marketing, Operations, Education and Training as well as Human Resources. He managed the company’s operations in London and New York in the early days of TCS’ global journey. Mr. Mahalingam has also been the President of Computer Society of India, The former Chairman of the Southern Region of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), He was also the President of the Institute of Management Consultants of India. Mr. Mahalingam is the Chairman of CII National Council Task Force on Sector Skills Councils & Employment and was a member of the Tax Administration Reform Commission(TARC) set up by the Government of India under the chairmanship of Dr. Parthasarathi Shome. Mr. Mahalingam was chosen as the best ‘CFO” in various years by Business Today, International Market Assessment (IMA), CNBC TV18, CFO Innovation, Finance Asia and Institutional Investors. In 2012, Treasury & Risk, a US based magazine named him as one of the 16 globally most influential CFOs.

Mrs. Nirupama Rao, is a retired Indian Diplomat, Foreign Secretary and Ambassador. She was educated in India and joined the Indian Foreign Service in 1973. During her four-decade-long diplomatic career, she held several important assignments. Mrs. Nirupama Rao was India’s first woman spokesperson in the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi, the first woman high commissioner to Sri Lanka and the first Indian Woman ambassador to the People’s Republic of China. She served as India’s Foreign Secretary from 2009-2011. At the end of that term, she was appointed India’s Ambassador to the United States where she served for a term of two years from 2011-2013.

Fiona is a Senior Advisor at Gleacher Shacklock LLP, a leading, UK based, M&A boutique. In addition, she is a Non-Executive Director of JSW Steel Ltd, the largest and fastest growing steel company in India with a market cap of $25bn; Metlen Energy & Metals, a FTSE 100 company, with a market cap of £6.5 bn, operating in the global industrial and energy sectors; Nostrum Oil & Gas plc, UK listed, and operating in Kazahkstan; and ACG Metals Ltd, the first UK listed, special purpose, acquisition company, building a global portfolio in battery metals businesses, with operations in Turkey. Having served the statutory term of 6 years, Fiona recently resigned from the board of the Interpipe Group, a private industrial group incorporated in Cyprus. Its steel operations in Ukraine serve the worldwide energy and infrastructure sectors.

Mr. Marcel Fasswald began his career in 1995 as a design and execution engineer at Mannesmann Demag Hüttentechnik, which was later integrated into SMS group in 1999.

Mr. Marcel Fasswald was since then associated with the Plant Engineering Company SMS group, where he was a member of the Managing Board acting as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Before being appointed to the Managing Board at SMS in 2015, he was Technical Director and Head of Engineering and for six years the CEO and Managing Director of SMS group in India. As a qualified engineer he brings international experience from several management positions in plant engineering at SMS.He was also the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions AG from April, 2018 to September 2018 and the CEO from October 2018 to October 2019.Mr. Marcel Fasswald is a man with excellent knowledge of the plant engineering business. His operational expertise and international experience will be of immense benefit to JSW Steel.

Mr. Sushil Kumar Roongta is an Electrical Engineer from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management - International Trade, from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi. He is a Fellow of All India Management Association (AIMA). Mr. Roongta has a wide and varied experience in public sector undertakings.

Mr. Roongta is the former Chairman of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), one of India’s largest public sector company. He was also the first Chairman of International Coal Ventures Limited (ICVL) – a JV of five leading PSUs i.e. SAIL, CIL, RINL, NMDC & NTPC.

Mr. Roongta has also served as a member of various Apex Chambers - Chairman of ‘Steel Committee’ of FICCI, member of National Council of CII and Advisory Council of ASSOCHAM. Mr. Roongta was also President of Institute for Steel Development & Growth. He was also a member of the Executive Committee of the World Steel Association - the Apex Body for formulation of policy for world steel. He was chairman of the Board of Governors of IIT-Bhubaneswar.

He has been part of various think tanks and is widely regarded as one of the principal experts in the field of metal, power and public sector turnarounds. He was Chairman of the ‘Panel of Experts on reforms in Central Public sector enterprises’ constituted by Planning Commission, widely known as ‘Roongta Committee’, whose report is taken as the benchmark for Public sector Reforms today.

Mr. Roongta is the proud recipient of a number of awards including [Standing conference of public enterprises | SCOPE Award for Excellence & Outstanding Contribution to the Public Sector Management] – Individual Category 2007-08 and IIM-JRD Tata award for excellence in Corporate Leadership in Metallurgical industries, 2016. Mr. Mukherjee believes that responsible organisations play a pivotal role in building a sustainable society, and under his Chairmanship, PwC Foundation in India was engaged in providing support to the causes of education for the girl child, empowerment of women, environmental sustainability and disaster relief initiatives across the country.

During his long professional career, he has advised several multinational companies wanting to invest/operate in India on business issues, and regulatory and tax matters. He has also been involved in advising on transactions and mergers & acquisitions.

Mr. Mukherjee started his professional journey with PwC in 1984 and became a partner in 1993. Along the way, he assumed several leadership roles, including PwC India's Brand & Strategy Leader and Leader of PwC India’s Tax practice.

Mr. Mukherjee is a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law from University of Delhi and is a Chartered Accountant and member of Bar Council of Delhi.
