JSW JFE Steel Limited (formerly known as JSW Sambalpur Steel Ltd) is a strategic 50:50 joint venture between JSW Steel and JFE Steel Corporation, Japan, bringing together complementary strengths in scale, operational excellence, and advanced steelmaking technologies. The joint venture focuses on the expansion of the integrated steel operations in Sambalpur, Odisha, with the aim to scale from 4.5 MTPA to 10 MTPA. It aims to enhance overall production capabilities and enable the development of high-grade, value-added steel solutions for key sectors such as automotive, infrastructure, and engineering.
