Mr. Sajjan Jindal
A mechanical engineer by training, Mr. Sajjan Jindal has been instrumental in transforming the functioning of the Indian steel industry with his progressive engagement of all stakeholders in the development process at JSW Steel. Under his leadership, JSW Group over the years has expanded in other core sectors of the economy such as power generation, infrastructure building and cement manufacturing.
JSW Energy Limited is a Public Limited Company. The Company has a mix of Executive and Non-executive Independent Directors. The Board of Directors comprises of seven Directors. Out of seven, the Company has four Independent Directors.
The Board of Directors oversees the overall functioning of the Company. The Board provides and evaluates the strategic direction of the Company, management policies and their effectiveness and ensures the long-term interests of the stakeholders are being served.
